Ive been on a rendezvous too broad for the written word. Expression of my round -up and the imprint I can best Strive to impart and leave are the tracks of passion and evidence left expressing my interpretation of each of those scenes. Now left for the beholder to interpret in their own Rashomon experience.
Ive been an Artist/Maker since my first memory in time. My Grandfather was a professional studio artist and built a wooden easel for me as soon as I could stand upright beside him. My grandmother was Native American and I spent a lot of time looming; quilting; making designs from cloth and rags at a very young age.
I use many different mediums, such as clay, acrylics, and pastels; oils, metal, glass, even video, I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
I enjoy dancing, hiking, my dogs, and above all time with my partner who inspires me and sparks old memories and new enthusiasm for recording the humanities and making my art. I love falling into flow of my work.
I AM DRIVEN. And that’s just what I do. And I’ll just keep on driving till I drive right into you...
I will drive , fly walk, run, crawl, rock and roll through this space I occupy with any tool I can utilize.
Some tools I am better with than others, and some I am still learning to use.
As they say, it’s just “how I roll”. I was born this way. You can’t change a leopards spots.
So I will create Art as purposefully and carefully as my ability allows. And I will push and stretch and endeavor to strengthen the abilities I am aware of and discover new powers and ways to use those tools within.
